Began a female;
Just added a why.

Absolute Power

Stimulate growth;
Simulate power.

Do I look like a danger?
When wearing this skin
Of oppressor

My dark medusa whom I’ll never own;
Her gaze turns just one thing to stone.

The curse of caring strikes with dread
So I’ll cherish this empty gift instead.

Hear as I softly and ever so sweetly
Convince you to sign this dark treaty.

I am inside you,
And I am around.

Peripheral prejudice;
Squint and you’ll see

Stare into the sun
In hopes it’ll fix me.

Cut us with taxes, then watch as we bleed;
Ignore all our cries as we scream out in need.
